Learn how to hand tie a broomcorn hearth broom
Service Description
Bring your own forged handle with a finish already on it and a hole drilled in the bottom or use a ready to forge handle that will be supplied. NOTE: You can forge your own broom handle prior to class in the open forges tent. Knives will be available to share but you are encouraged to bring a sharp pocketknife. Steps include: preparing the handle, preparing the broomcorn, tying the broom, stitching the broom, and finishing the broom. A hand-out of the steps will be provided. This is a 3+/- hour class with two classes offered, one Friday afternoon, one Saturday morning.

To cancel we require 72 hours' notice. If desired and if there are open slots available, we will attempt to reschedule you to a different class during the FABA convention but we will not offer refunds with less than 72 hours notice.
