ABANA National Curriculum level 1

Service Description

Rusty Osborne of South Carolina, an ABANA board member and certified instructor will be leading this class on the ABANA Level One Curriculum. If you want a chance to get started on the ABANA curriculum, here it is. This class will cover the ABANA Level One Curriculum from 1.1 to 1.13 For more information please see https://abana.org/education/national-curriculum/level-i/ Blacksmithing basics and safety will be covered from the very beginning to more advanced techniques. All beginners welcome, however, you will benefit more from this class if you are already familiar with basic safety, coal fire maintenance, and basic forging techniques. Different projects will be available depending on skill level. (Depending on individual aptitude, not all students will make it thru all levels in this class.) If you do not have any forging experience, we recommend you take our Level 1 class.

To cancel we require 72 hours' notice. If desired and if there are open slots available, we will attempt to reschedule you to a different class during the FABA convention but we will not offer refunds with less than 72 hours notice.
