Friction Folding Knife
Leroi Price will teach you how to make your own friction folder to take home!
Service Description
LeRoi Price, author of Knife Mechanisms Just For the Fun Of It, will lead this class on making friction folding knives. The class will cover decorative file work on the blade provided. Sanding the blade, heat treating, tempering, sharpening, and assembling the folder, Students will leave with a folding knife, with a totally finished blade and wood handle, if all proceeds well. If time further allows students may do some electro metal etching of text on their blade like their name.
