ABANA National Curriculum level 1.17

Service Description

Rusty Osborne of South Carolina, an ABANA board member and certified instructor, will be leading this class on the ABANA Level One Curriculum Flux Spoon. If you want a chance to get started on the ABANA curriculum, here it is. This class will cover the ABANA Level One Curriculum 1.17. We will be doing a nick and fold forge weld along with spreading and dishing the spoon. We will finish up with a turned eye on the handle end. Students should be familiar with coal forge fire management, basic blacksmith tools (anvil, hammer, and hardy hot cut) and safety. All beginners welcome; our first goal is to have fun! Completion of the project will depend on participants' experience level (Blacksmithing basics 1, is highly recommended even though Blacksmithing basics and safety will be covered again at the beginning of the class).
