Meet in Edgewater boardroom (small board room opposite the banquette hall) There’s something wonderfully comforting about sitting down with a needle, a bit of thread, and a piece of fabric—and watching a little picture come to life, one stitch at a time. Think of embroidery as a way to paint with thread. Instead of brushes and paint you’ll use colorful strands of floss and simple stitches to create your own favorite designs. We’ll gently walk you through the foundations of embroidery, including how to: �� Thread and use an embroidery needle �� Get comfortable with an embroidery hoop �� Transfer a simple design onto fabric – we even have stamps! ✨ Learn beginner-friendly stitches like the stem stitch, backstitch, running stitch, satin stitch, and chain stitch �� Combine stitches to create texture & detail �� Choose your own fabric, colors and pattern ☕ Handout provided for you to take home. Build confidence so you can continue stitching your own projects! And because autumn is made for cozy things, you’ll have free autumn-inspired embroidery patterns to choose from—think pumpkins, leaves, mushrooms and other charming designs. All supplies are included, so just bring yourself and your creative spirit. We’ll provide the fabric, hoops, needles, embroidery floss, and everything else you need to get stitching. Whether you’ve always wanted to try embroidery, are looking for a relaxing new hobby, or simply want an afternoon away from the busy pace of everyday life, this is a chance to slow down, sip something warm and make something beautiful with your hands.
