Northwest January Regional Meeting

Ken Weldon has initiated an effort to make tongs for the Monday evening "Open Forges" at Jim Labolitos. Ken says Jim is getting good attendance from new Smiths but they are woefully short of decent tongs. For the meeting, we going to have demonstrations for making several kinds of tongs and a kind of assembly line set up to produce tongs to donate to Jim and for anyone else who wants to take a pair home. For the meal Mike's grilling crew is going to make their famous chicken and we're going to bring sides and desserts to go along. We had a nice collection of items donated to the raffle in December, let's continue with that and try to bring your favorite tongs to show off and discuss.
